Hi, I’m Emilee—owner and founder of Wash + Wag Boutique, LLC.

 

My love for animals began at a very young age and only grew stronger over time—whether I was volunteering at local barns and rescues or knocking on neighbors’ doors asking to walk their dogs. There has never been a doubt in my mind that I was called to love and care for animals.

 

As an adult, I had the opportunity to work in both emergency and primary veterinary medicine, which deepened my passion and understanding of animal care. After growing my family and becoming a stay-at-home mom to four children, my husband Kyle and I started Huff Family Doodles in 2021, which later expanded into Huff Family Doodles & Doxies in 2025.

 

In 2025, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in Georgia Grooming Academy, excited to then begin a new chapter at a local salon. But as quickly as it began, I realized it wasn’t where I was meant to be. It wasn’t filling my heart in the way I felt the Lord intended, and in January, I made the difficult decision to step away from what I once thought would be my forever grooming home. 

 

That season brought confusion and frustration. I questioned why God would lead me somewhere only to call me away. But through prayer and faith, Kyle and I began to see His plan more clearly. We watched Him open new doors while closing others—guiding us through “not yet” and “no,” but also through many clear and undeniable “yes” moments.

 

We saw mountains move and felt His hand leading us every step of the way, revealing His purpose for this next chapter.

 

Wash + Wag Boutique was built on a deep love for the Lord, a passion for serving others, and a commitment to caring for the pets in our community. Our prayer is that this business not only provides exceptional care for your pets but also reflects kindness, integrity, and the love of Christ in all that we do.

 

We are honored to serve Waco, Georgia and the surrounding areas, and we look forward to building lasting relationships with each family who walks through our doors.

 

Outside of the salon, I’m a wife, a homeschooling mom, and a proud “animal mama”—dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs… and honestly, if my kids ask for another, I’ll probably say yes!

 

Our home is full of life and love with our oldest, Paytin, our three boys—Cody, Caison, and Camden—and our caboose, Adilee. Our kids are diving into this journey right alongside us and will be familiar faces around the salon. Paytin will often be one of the first smiling faces you see in the boutique, while the others will likely be close by—always ready to love on your four-legged family members.

 

We can’t wait to grow alongside this amazing community and serve you and your furry family for years to come.
